"Trilogia Trascendenze" is a film trilogy directed by Italian filmmaker Egidio Carbone that explores the concept of transcendence. The three films in the series, titled "Transcendenza", "Trascendenza" and "Trascendenze", follow different characters as they navigate their way through life-changing experiences that force them to confront their limitations and strive for greater understanding and enlightenment. The first film, "Transcendenza", focuses on a man who becomes obsessed with the idea of transcending his physical body and achieving a state of pure consciousness. He turns to extreme measures and ends up undergoing a dangerous and transformative experience. In the second film, "Trascendenza", a woman grapples with the loss of her husband and seeks solace in a new, spiritual community. But as she becomes more involved in the group, she begins to question its true motives and whether its teachings are leading her towards true transcendence or simply manipulation. The third and final film, "Trascendenze", brings together the characters from the previous two films as they explore different paths towards transcendence - from a scientific experiment to a religious pilgrimage to a psychedelic journey. Each character must confront their own fears and limitations in order to achieve true transcendence.
